Clicking on the pathway link shown on the previous page will bring up two small preview views of a "G1 to R phase regeneration pathway for Beta lineage sporadic chronic diseases", which is based on sporadic LMN ALS results, (other phenotypes will produce variations), and "Early G1 phase Glycolysis pathway for the Beta lineage", which will be common in many chronic diseases. To open a full size printable pathway diagram, place your cursor on one of the preview diagrams and click on the blue download button that appears under that diagram.

These pathway diagrams have been compiled from many ALS/MND papers, but must be considered as a work in progress at this stage. These will assist greatly in understanding ALS/MND. If you are a patient, I suggest that you print out the two pathway diagrams, one to keep in front of yourself whenever you are reading ALS research papers, and other copies to hand to your medical or research team. The quicker that the ALS/MND research profession is aware of what is going on in the ALS patients cells, the quicker they can come up with effective treatments. These pathway diagrams will be periodically updated, so it may be worth updating your copies now and then.
